This section consists of short stories written by us.

Realistic Fiction

These short stories are either based on our own experiences with being plural and/or nonhuman, or are inspired by the experiences of alterhumans in general. Some stories are set in the “present” while other stories are set in the “recent past” or “near future.” While these stories are generally based on the experiences of real-life people, these are works of fiction. Any names or characters, events or incidents, are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

While trying to piece together what her theriotype is, an awakening otherkin comes across something unexpected she must come to grips with personally. Warning: This story is inspired by how real-life fictionkin were really treated in the late 2000s. Some of the dialogue from characters is very hurtful but are near word for word replicas of what people used to say about fictionkin during this time. Please read at your own discretion.

Evelyn and her dæmon, Vegagarmr thought they were going to have a normal evening; however, a book will unexpectedly turn the tides of events yet to come. This story is loosely based on real-life dæmonism but contains the wish fulfillment over the desire of corporal dæmons.
